This blog is designed to reflect on the betrayal of God's faithful flock by the hireling ministers of The Worldwide Church of God. These evil men masqueraded as faithful ministers of Christ, but were ministers of Satan. I will expose their devious behaviour, and comment on their destruction! This blog is primarily aimed at true Christians, who are seeking to understand the mysteries of the kingdom heaven. NB: I shall be at Mizpeh until desolation overspreads the land!

A Moral Decline
Thursday, 25 October 2012
The worse is yet to come!
Economic depression and famine stalk the land; our streets are full of bloody crimes; the concept of the family has almost disappeared from our vocabulary; abortions have reached an all time high; women are dying of more gynaecological related cancers than ever before, and our children are not safe in schools, colleges or on the streets. With two months to go, this year has already been truly momentous!
Can things get any worse? They can and they will. The indications are, this winter will be the worse since records began as God begins to use the weather to punish the wicked(Job 37:6-13). As winter grips the land, next year’s harvest of essential grains is likely to be less than this year’s, which has already resulted in higher food prices, as the greedy food manufacturers “make the ephah small, and the shekel great”(Amos 8:2-7). Of course, these conditions were prophesied by Joel thus(Joel 1:2-4).
Against this background of impending disaster and misery, we are plagued by widespread religious confusion. The divided groups that came out of The Worldwide Church of God, were primarily set up to provide salaries for a discredited cabal of hirelings. So for the sake of “filthy lucre,” these so-called ministers continue to teach that Christ is divided, and anything else that their deluded congregations want to hear(2 Tim.4:3-4)..
However, the collapse of society is a moral problem, as a direct result of broken laws! A subject I intend to write about when I have more time.

The Mayans and You?
We are more than half way through a momentous year! America is in total moral decline, as the president sanctions so-called “gay marriages.” The national debt, depends on who you believe, is between $15 and $16 trillion. Thirty million Americans are listed as poor, while the 1% owns 95% of the nation’s wealth.
In the UK, we have a complete break down in law and order! Communities are plagued by a generation of criminals, “who can neither keep their own property nor allow others to keep theirs”! The coalition disagrees on what to do about almost everything, except the need to keep disagreeing. And yes, our Prime Minister also sanctions “gay marriages”!
Every where we have widespread religious confusion! The divisions among the so-called “churches of God” have become so wide, that even the most stubborn hireling can no longer deny that Christ is not divided.
So what about the so-called “Mayan prophecy,” which apparently doesn’t see a future for the world beyond 21 December 2012? Well, my views on the supposed prophecy is well documented.
But between now and the “dreaded” date, I expect greater disasters to befall and overwhelm mankind, as “the wrath of God comes upon the children of disobedience”(Eph.5:6)! I also expect Romney to win the American presidential election, and in the UK, the labour party to be retuned to power in 2015 – if not before!
The final words of King David are these: “He that rules over men must be just, ruling in the fear of the Lord”(2 Sam. 23:3). So anyone who sanctions “gay marriages,” or teaches that Christ is divided is not ruling in the fear of the Lord.

2012, Reality or Fiction
Much has been written about a supposed Mayan prophecy announcing the end of the world on 21 December 2012. The irrational sceptics posting ridicule and abuse on the various blogs, have dismissed the prophecy as “rubbish.” Many others believe that no one can foretell the future, so all prophecy, whether biblical or Mayan, must be rejected as the ranting either of Jewish “goat herders” or the insanity of “blood thirsty Mayans priests." But should the final date of the Mayan Calendar be dismissed as nonsense because some people are unable to separate fact from fiction? I don’t think so.
It has been reported and verified by the Spanish conquistadors, that the Mayans prophesied hundreds of years in advance, that their empire or civilisation would be overthrown on a specific date, which was fulfilled on that very date in 1533. This prophecy can’t be dismissed as the insane ranting of a “blood thirst Mayan priest,” or be compared with the vague and opaque prophecies of Nostradamus, which are interpreted after events have occurred.
Does the above mean that I believe that the world will end on 21 December 2012? No, I don’t. For Jesus said: "For of that day and hour knows no man, no, not the angels in heaven, but my Father only" (Matt. 24:36). And there is no clear evidence that any Mayan has prophesied it will, either. But since the Mayan calendar doesn’t go beyond 21 December 2012, one has to ask oneself, why does it end on that date? And since they have prophesied at least one major event that has been fulfilled, I believe it would be very unwise not to expect some significant events to occur on that date or leading up to that date.
Furthermore, when Herbert W. Armstrong started preaching the gospel in South America, it was discovered that many of the people living there were already familiar with the Holy Days, the Sabbath and some other doctrines of the bible. This would indicate that at some time in the past, men of God were preaching and teaching the bible among these people. And these men were able to prophesy the destruction of the Mayan pagan society, which occurred in 1533. And these same Christians were responsible for passing on the knowledge of God’s calendar to the Mayans, which has been corrupted by dishonest men. Just as the wholesome teachings of Mr Armstrong have been corrupted by misguided men, who have developed their own brand of religion for the sake of money.
So, will 2012 usher in a period of unprecedented misery? If the perilous times in which we live is a guide to the future, the answer has to be yes!
